Samsung patented a smartphone with the maximum curved edges of the display

The World Organization of Intellectual Property (World International Property Office) issued a patent to Samsung on the smartphone with the curved edges of the display.

Bend me completely

Judging by the drawings of the patent, Koreans are preparing an apparatus, the screen of which will be bent up to the back cover and will have a semi-circular appearance. And based on their patent specifications, this form of display brings the user interface of the smartphone to a new level and will force people to use and keep their gadget completely differently.

What to expect

At first it seems that this is another unrealizable patent, which will remain dusty in the backyard of technologies. But if you remember the year 2014 and all those skeptical previews, reviews and news related to the model Samsung Galaxy Note Edge with a beveled screen on the one hand. And today this is not surprising, and even the most insane Chinese manufacturer is trying to release its version of the smartphone with a curved screen. Proceeding from this, it is necessary to give the new patent at least one chance.
