Jan Ingenhaus is best known as the pioneer in the process of photosynthesis . At one time, he proved that with the help of light, green plants turn carbon dioxide into oxygen. In addition, Ingenhaus is considered the pioneer of the Brownian movement and was the first to notice the presence of cellular respiration in plants.
