Google Maps will warn about the necessary stop

Last week in the Indian version of the Google Maps application appeared a mode for motorcyclists, and now the service team decided to seriously engage users of public transport. According to TechCrunch, developers are testing a feature that will help not miss its stop.

What's new?

When compiling the route for public transport in the application, a button will appear to start navigation ("In the path"), which is now available only when traveling by car or walking. If you click on it, Google Maps will track the location of the smartphone, and when you arrive at the desired stop, a message is displayed. Meanwhile, an interactive card is displayed in the notification panel and on the lock screen, where you can view the key points on the way.

When the new feature becomes available to all users of Google Maps - is unknown. In November, the service also added different map display modes to avoid overloading the screen with unnecessary information at the moment.
