Chinese regulator TENAA revealed the main chip of the successor to Nokia 6 - a large screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, which occupies almost the entire front panel. The 2018 model is listed under the TA-1054 index, before that it was attributed to the flagship Nokia 9.

Full-screen design

So far, only photos of Nokia 6 (2018) have appeared in the database without detailed specifications. Like its predecessor, the smartphone is enclosed in an all-metal case. Since the frame at the top and bottom of the display (presumably, 5.7-inch) became thinner, the fingerprint scanner moved to the back panel. On the module of the main camera there is no Zeiss logo, but there was a color accent in the form of a red edging.

As expected, the new product will receive a Snapdragon 630 processor (rumors about the 660-m chipset are too good to be true), 4 GB of operative and 32 GB of internal memory.

When to expect?

Chinese insiders have already denied the information about the Chinese presentation on January 19, but HMD can choose another date for the announcement of new devices of the Finnish brand. Perhaps Nokia 6 (2018) will be shown at CES 2018 at the beginning of the year, or the company will leave all the fun at the February Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
