The HBO channel officially confirmed that the release of the last eighth season of the fantasy series "Game of Thrones" will be held in 2019.

To wait for a very long time

Shooting the last season of the TV project began in October 2017, but the show will have to wait until next year. Representatives of the channel also told that in the eighth season there will be only six series, but in time they will approach the timing of full-length films (from 1 to 6 the season was 10 episodes, in the seventh there were 7 episodes almost an hour or more). Directed by the project will already familiar Miguel Sapocnik and David Nutter , who will help the showrangers David Benioff and DB B. Weiss.
