Samsung will not yet make processors for the iPhone

Apple ruled out Samsung for brackets in the production of processors for the iPhone. The development of the microchip A12 for the next generation of apple phones will be dealt with only by the Taiwanese company TSMC.

The thing is that the Apple A12 processor will be 7-nm process technology and this will be one of the first one-chip systems of this kind on market. Sources say that Samsung has not yet mastered the technology and plans to give up on the second generation of 7-nm processors. Therefore y Apple simply does not had a choice.
