Samsung patented a smartphone with a cutout on the display at the top

South Korean company Samsung patented the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) smartphone with a cutout on the display in its upper part.

What was shown

Judging by the presented schemes, the possible future apparatus of the Korean giant is very similar to Essential Phone: almost the entire front panel of the device is occupied by a screen and curved at the edges, like all the company's last flagships. And at the top and middle of the display is a cutout for the front camera. On the back there is a single camera. To the left of it is a double flash and a heart rate sensor.

What to expect

Some experts on the Web believe that the future design of the flagship Galaxy Note 9 is before us. Others are skeptical of this idea and say that Samsung, like any other technology giant, patents a lot of devices and gadgets within a year. But not all of them are transferred from paper to reality. The same argument applies to the patent shown above.
