Alexa has learned how to send SMS messages
Amazon taught Alexa to send SMS messages using voice commands.
What's added
To send a message to your friends using Alexa, you need a smartphone on Android and Echo dot. To start, you need to make a smartphone with a voice assistant, so that Alexa can access your mobile communications and a list of your contacts. The initial configuration is through a special application, but make sure that the smartphone is controlled by Android no lower than the fifth version. Sending SMS occurs through the command "Send SMS [name of contact]".
There are a couple of "buts"
Unfortunately, Alexa does not know how to call the rescue service, send messages to group chats and skip pictures, and vidos. So if you decided to throw the memch in the group chat of the National Police, then you will not succeed.
