Sony has long ignored the main trends of the smartphone market, but the situation is beginning to change. In the test results AnTuTu, a mysterious Sony H8266 with a "high" display lit up. Most likely, this is the flagship model of Xperia XZ2, which was hinted at by an Irish mobile operator.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 is equipped with a Full HD + panel (2160x1080 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The heart of the smartphone was the top processor Snapdragon 845. Like Samsung , the Japanese company decided to equip its flagship "only" with 4 gigabytes of RAM. Built-in 64 GB storage. Information about the cameras there, but Sony representatives already hinted at the dual module.

Initially, the profile of devices with indexes H82xx (different versions of XZ2) was specified Full HD-display with the usual proportions of 16: 9, but the plans have changed. Sony even notified the US regulator of the FCC about changes in the design of one of the upcoming models.

When the announcement?

As expected, Sony Xperia XZ2 will present in the company 4K-smartphone Xperia XZ Pro at the exhibition MWC 2018. Press conference Sony is scheduled for 26 February.
