At MWC 2018 Huawei introduced MateBook X Pro, MediaPad M5 and 5G-terminal

Chinese giant Huawei brought three new products to the MWC 2018: the Ultrabook MateBook X Pro, the MediaPad M5 tablet and the newest commercial 5G terminal.

Huawei MateBook X Pro - Ultrabook with 13.9-inch 3K-display Full View (occupies 91% of the front panel). His heart is the Intel Core i7 or i5 processors of the eighth generation with the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics card (2 GB of video memory of the GDDR5 type). The battery of the novelty has a capacity of 57.4 Wh. There is an audio system Dolby Atmos and special speakers that create a surround sound effect. The price for the new Huawei MateBook X Pro starts from 1499 euros.

Huawei introduced two versions of the tablet MediaPad M5: with screens at 8.4 and 10.8 inches (in the Pro version). Both displays have a curved, protected 2.5D glass, 2K resolution (2560 by 1600 pixels), native Kirin 960 processor, and its simplified version of the Kirin 960s. In the work they are helped by 4 gigabytes of RAM and 32.64 or 128 gigabytes of built-in, depending on the version. The main camera MediaPad M5 Pro is equipped with a module at 13 megapixels, and the front one at 8 megapixels. There is a proprietary stylus M-Pen (for the Pro version), four speakers, a SIM card slot and a battery for 5100 and 7500 mAh (for the Pro version). There is no standard 3.5-audio jack, the headphones will have to be plugged into the USB Type-C. Both tablets work on the Android 8.0 OS with the proprietary EMUI 8.0 shell. The price for Huawei MediaPad M5 starts from 349 euros. For MediaPad M5 Pro will have to give 399 euros and above.

Terminal 5G

Huawei 5G CPE is the world's first commercial 5G subscriber terminal created by 3GPP. It is based on the Huawei Balong 5G01 chip. According to the company representatives, this is the world's first 5G 3GPP chipset supporting all 5G-frequency bands, including sub-6GHz and millimeter wave (MMW). Available options for street and premises, the ability to work in 4G and 5G networks at a maximum speed of up to 2.3 Gbps. About the release date, price and other features are still unknown.
