Samsung already tests Galaxy Note 9 with an "infinite" screen and Android Oreo

The presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + is already behind , which means that the rumors of the next flagship of the company, Galaxy Note 9, are officially opened. As for the order, the device was immediately revealed in the results of the HTML5 Test.

What is known?

In the current generation of smartphones, the North American Samsung Galaxy Note 8 carries the SM-N950U index, so it's obvious that the model numbered SM-N960U on the benchmark site is Galaxy Note 9. A similar system works in another flagship line of Koreans: after the Galaxy S8 / S8 + (SM -G950 / G955) came out with the Galaxy S9 / S9 + (SM-G960 / G965).

As usual, the screen resolution in the HTML5 Test is less than the actual resolution, but the test confirmed the familiar proportions - 18.5: 9 (Infinity Display). The current samples of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 are running Android 8.0 Oreo, and the final release can bring a more recent Android 8.1.

The smartphone should get an updated camera with a variable aperture, as in the Galaxy S9 family. The S-Pen's stylus will not go anywhere, either, but whether the fingerprint scanner will be added to the display is unknown.

When to expect?

Most likely, Samsung will not change the usual schedule for the release of devices, and Galaxy Note 9 will be shown at the presentation in August.
