Resource XDA-Developers shared a list of smartphones that received Project Treble

Google at the Google I / O 2017 conference with Android 8.0 Oreo introduced Project Treble. The initiative should solve the problem with long updates of all Android-devices. Devaysov with the support of Project Treble is not so much, but they still are.

What is known

The XDA-Developers resource published a list of smartphones that, with the upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo, received support from Treble. Naturally, it includes devices from Google: Pixel and Pixel XL. In addition to them, Project Trebl already has smartphones ASUS Zenfone 4, Essential Phone, Razer Phone, Sharp Aquos S2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Also included in the list are many Huawei / Honor devices: Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 9 Pro, Huawei Mate 10 Lite, Huawei Nova 2, Honor 7X, Huawei P8 Lite (2017), Honor 8 Pro, Honor 9, Honor 9i, Huawei P10, Huawei P10 Lite and Huawei P10 Plus.

In addition to all these devices, XDA-Developers also shared a list of devices that informally received support for the initiative. It includes smartphones Xiaomi and Lenovo: ZUK Z2 Plus, ZUK Z2 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi 5s, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi 6, Xiaomi Redmi 3s / 3X, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 / Redmi 5 Plus.

In the dry residue

Unfortunately, the list does not contain Galaxy S8, Note 8 or smartphones from OnePlus. This suggests that not all manufacturers are willing to add support for Project Treble to their old devices. Perhaps one of the reasons is to get users to buy new smartphones.
