The next generation Essential Phone will receive an improved camera

Smartphone Android creator Andy Rubin came out last year. The device received an unusual design, top characteristics, but a bad camera, compared to competitors. This was said by users and written by many publications. Essential will try to fix this in the next version of the smartphone.

What is known

Industrial designer Essential Linda Jian (Linda Jiang) said in a recent Businessinsider interview that the manufacturer hears its users and is going to fix the problem with a bad camera in the next generation of the device. Unfortunately, Gian did not talk about the characteristics and timing of the release of the new device.

Characteristics

Recall, Essential PH-1 has a 5.7-inch IPS screen, a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 13 megapixel dual camera with a second monochrome module, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory and a battery for 3040 mAh. Essential Phone "out of the box" worked on Android 7.1 Nougat, but recently the device was updated to Android 8.1 Oreo.
