Apple has completed the transition to renewable energy sources

According to the corporation, now all offices, data centers, retail stores and other objects of Apple in 43 countries of the world work exclusively on "green" energy. Thus, the Kupertinovs are launching a new, certainly commendable trend among the world's leading companies.

Scale of reform

The transition took 8 years, during this time, Apple redone the entire system of supply and production. Moreover, the use of "green" energy is now a prerequisite for cooperation with the company. Installed solar and wind farms on the roofs of high-rise buildings, offices and theme parks, in extreme cases, resorting to the purchase of electricity from third-party suppliers. A total of 25 facilities were built, generating a total of 626 MW of capacity, of which 286 MW are provided by solar power plants that were launched in 2017.
