Huawei promises to release its first 5G smartphone in the second half of 2019

Huawei claims that its   the first smartphone with   support 5G will be released in   third quarter of 2019.

What will it be

Most likely, it will be Huawei Mate 30 (the name is supposed). On   this idea is prompted by the timing of the release of Mate 20 (autumn 2018).

A   here on   which processor will the 5G-smartphone   - is still unknown. Recall on   MWC 2018, Huawei introduced the only (yet)   world 5G 3GPP Balong 5G01 chipset , supporting all 5G-frequency bands , including sub-6 GHz and   millimeter waves (MMW). But   for mobile devices, it   not   suitable for its size.

A   ZTE promises to release a 5G-smartphone already to   end of this year. But   while he   unlikely   whether it will be necessary, because operators will deploy networks of the fifth generation only in   2019 year.

Plans
