Rumor: iPhone SE 2 with 4.2-inch screen will be released in May

Apple still managed to break away from working on the next generation iPhone and quickly co-create the successor to the iPhone SE. An updated compact smartphone can be presented as early as next month.

Where does information come from?

Japanese blog Mac Otakara refers to the manufacturers of covers, which managed to communicate at the exhibition of mobile technology in Hong Kong. As expected, the size of the iPhone SE 2 will be identical to the first model, with the diagonal of the display slightly increased - from 4 to 4.2 inches. Under the screen is the fingerprint reader. The heart of the smartphone will be the A10 Fusion processor, like the iPhone 7.

There will be an NFC chip for working with Apple Pay. Now a fly in the ointment: the novelty will lose 3.5 mm headphone jack. Rumors of wireless charging are hinting at the glass rear panel of the case, but we will not take everything for granted and wait for official confirmation (or refutation).
