The technical specifications of the display of the flagship smartphone Xiaomi MIX 5 have appeared on the World Wide Web.

What is known

The future flagship will feature an LTPO 2.0 AMOLED E5 panel from Samsung. The resolution will be 1440p. An identical matrix is used in the flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is preparing for a global premiere.

The maximum brightness will be 1500 nits. The Xiaomi MIX 5 display will receive support for a 120Hz refresh rate. At the same time, users will be able to select 90 Hz in the settings themselves, and depending on the displayed content, the smartphone will automatically change the refresh rate between 60 Hz, 30 Hz, 10 Hz and 1 Hz.

Xiaomi MIX 5 will receive a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor and will go on sale with pre-installed MIUI 13 firmware based on Android 12. Another feature will be a sub-screen selfie camera, like in Xiaomi MIX 4. The presentation of the flagship is expected this spring.
