The YouTube app on Android and iOS has received an updated player

Google has announced an updated player for the YouTube app on Android and iOS.

What's new

The player has become more functional. For example, users can now like/dislike a video without leaving full screen mode. Also, the updated version received the "Share" and "Add to Favorites" buttons. In addition, a “stack” with similar videos appeared in the left corner.
