In October, XPeng will show at an exhibition in Dubai its unmanned aerial cab Voyager X2, which has been under development for almost 10 years.

The XPeng Voyager X2 will make its first flight with passengers on board during the Gitex Global Technology exhibition. The event will be held in Dubai from October 10 to 14, 2022. The company claims that the unmanned air cab is almost ready to be put into service.

The Voyager X2 will perform several demonstration flights at the show in Dubai. XPeng has already received all permits from the city's Department of Civil Aviation.

The Voyager X2 is an unmanned air cab equipped with eight electric motors. Development of the aircraft began in 2013. During that time, the air cab has managed to make 15,000 test flights, but without passengers.

Voyager X2 can reach speeds of up to 230 km/h and fly at an altitude of up to 1 km. Voyager X2 has enough battery power for 35 minutes of flight. The air cab weighs 360 kg and cabin can accommodate three passengers. Three touch screens are used for navigation and multimedia.
