Despite the criticism faced by the authors of the series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the company Amazon has officially announced the start of filming the second season.

It became known that the sequel will not be filmed in New Zealand, as the first season, but in the UK, which is associated with a desire to minimize costs.

The premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power was the biggest success for Amazon's film division in 15 years. The series generated a lot of controversy and discontent, but statistics showed that it surpassed HBO's super-popular House of the Dragon.

The first season finale of The Rings of Power will be on October 14, but the tentative release date for the second season has not even been announced yet.
