nubia unveiled a stylized flagship Z50 powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in honor of the Chinese New Year
The company nubia announced a new variant of the smartphone Z50. The model has a long name - nubia Z50 China Red Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition. As you might have guessed, the release of the smartphone is timed to the Chinese New Year.
Here's What We Know
2023 is the year of the rabbit according to the Chinese calendar. In this regard, the company has applied the image of the animal on the back of the smartphone. The back cover has a red coloring. The Chinese New Year is stylized and the design theme on the display.
The novelty does not differ from the original model, which was presented last month, in terms of technical specifications. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a 5000 mA*h battery with 80-watt charging and runs on Android 13.
The nubia Z50 gets an AMOLED FHD+ display with a frame rate of 144 Hz. The main camera resolution is 64 MP + 50 MP, and the front camera is 16 MP. The former got an optical image stabilization system.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The regular nubia Z50 went on sale at a price of $430 to $860. The nubia Z50 China Red Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition will hit the market on January 22 and will be available in limited quantities. The price is not specified.
