Tesla has raised prices on top-selling cars in the US and China to encourage customers to buy

Tesla has reduced the price of electric cars several times since the end of 2022. Many customers are expecting prices to fall even further. Due to this, the company has decided to raise the price of the Model 3 and Model Y to give a nudge to waiters.

Here's What We Know

Elon Musk's electric cars started getting more expensive during the 2020 pandemic. After a recent series of discounts, the cost is back to the level of three years ago. Many customers looking to buy a new Tesla car expect prices to continue to fall.

This week, the US company raised the cost of its most popular electric cars. For example, the Model 3 and Model Y went up by $250 in the United States. In the Chinese market, prices were increased by $289.

The upward correction turned out to be insignificant. However, it is believed to spur potential Tesla customers waiting for a better time to buy an electric car.
