CD Projekt not for sale: game company head categorically denies rumours of merger with Sony

CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński has put an end to speculation over a merger between the Polish game company and Japanese giant Sony.

Speaking to investors, Adam Kiciński has made it clear that the company will remain independent and is not considering any merger options with other companies:

Nothing has changed on our part. So I can repeat what we have been saying for years: CD Projekt is not for sale. We want to remain independent. In my opinion, we have a great strategy. It's not easy to implement, but we are interested in going our own way. So it is just a rumour.

As things are going great for the company, as the latest financial report shows, CD Projekt can afford to stay independent.
