First Exodus gameplay footage unveiled - Archetype Studios will unveil a detailed trailer for the ambitious space RPG today
Archetype Entertainment studio, founded by former employees of Bioware, Naughty Dog and 343 Industries, presented the first gameplay teaser of the ambitious role-playing game Exodus, which in many ways resembles Mass Effect.
Here's What We Know
The developers have published a short teaser on their social media accounts that shows a few Exodus scenes, but is not rich in details. The game looks very good thanks to excellent graphics and interesting design decisions.
Already today at 18:00 (CET) Archetype studio will release a full gameplay trailer, which will allow us to draw more conclusions about Exodus.
As a reminder, in the Exodus universe, humanity is forced to leave Earth and travel to other planets in neighbouring galaxies. Players will find themselves in the role of one of the Travellers (Traveler) - a group of people who explore space and encounter hostile alien life forms.
The role of one of the main characters in Exodus will be played by the famous actor Matthew McConaughey, and Mass Effect creator Drew Karpyshyn will be the main scriptwriter.
An interesting feature of the game will be the uneven flow of time on different planets: after leaving one world for a while - the player when returning to it will find out that several centuries have passed and the situation has changed dramatically, but it is not clear how it will be implemented in terms of gameplay.
Exodus is being developed for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
There is no release date for the game yet.
