Google Pixel 10a design will not change: exclusive renders of the budget smartphone have been published
Android Headlines portal has published exclusive renders of Google's budget smartphone Pixel 10a, revealing not only its design but also some technical details.
What is known
The mid-range novelty will get a familiar design, updated chipset and will keep the focus on battery life and long-term support.
The Pixel 10a is virtually identical in appearance to the 9a: a flat plastic back, dual cameras, thick bezels and a signature button layout - a volume rocker below the power button, which is unique to Google's smartphones. CAD renders show a symmetrical bottom edge with a microphone and speaker.
According to leaks, the Google Pixel 10a will be smaller but thicker than the Pixel 9a and will measure 153.9 × 72.9 × 9 mm. The smartphone will feature a 6.2″ P-OLED screen with a resolution of 2424 × 1080 pixels and up to 120Hz.
Most likely, the Pixel 10a will be equipped with Google's Tensor G4 chipset, possibly an "overclocked" version, as the G5 will be too expensive for the budget version.
The device will get a 5,100mAh battery, 23W charging via cable and 7.5W wireless charging.
Google is expected to provide the smartphone with 7 years of support and security patches.
The renders show a blue colour, but its availability in the final version is yet to be confirmed.
Despite rumours of a launch before the end of 2025, Android Headlines' source thinks this is unlikely. The Pixel 10a is likely to be released in March or April 2026, similar to previous generations.
The price is likely to remain at the same level as the Pixel 9a - $499 for the 128GB version.
