Xiaomi unveils RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook E-Learning: laptops with 15.6" screens, 11th generation Intel Core chips and price $531
Xiaomi, as promised, held an event in India today to unveil the RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook E-Learning Edition laptops.
What we know
New items are similar to each other and differ only in some parameters. So, laptops got plastic cases weighing 1.8 kg, with thickness - 19.9 mm. The RedmiBook Pro is powered by an Intel Core i5-11300H chip paired with Iris Xe graphics and 8GB of RAM. The internal SSD is 512 GB. RedmiBook E-Learning, in turn, got a weaker Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor and 256GB or 512GB SSD.
As for the other specifications, they are the same. The devices are equipped with 15.6-inch FHD screens, 720p webcams, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1, HDMI and Ethernet ports, full-size backlit keyboards, and 100 × 100 cm trackpads. Laptops also have 2W stereo speakers with support for DTS audio, headphone jacks and 46Wh batteries with support for 65W charging (80% in 53 minutes). RedmiBook Pro and RedmiBook E-Learning Edition are powered by Windows 10 Home operating system.
Price and when to expect
Sales of new products will start in India on August 6. It is not known whether laptops will appear in other regions.
