Snapdragon 888+, 165Hz screen and up to 18GB RAM - Nubia teases Red Magic 6S Pro gaming smartphone

Nubia recently started publishing teasers anticipating the announcement of its new Red Magic 6s Pro gaming smartphone.

What is known?

The new poster further confirms that the smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 888+ single-core system, which differs from the usual Snapdragon 888 SoC by increasing the Prime Cortex-X1 core frequency to 2.995GHz. That said, in AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmarks, Snapdragon 888 models still score higher than Snapdragon 888+ devices.

Nubia Red Magic 6s Pro will get a 165Hz Super AMOLED panel. This Nubia revealed the specifications and announcement date of the Red Magic 6S Pro gaming smartphone two days ago. The smartphone is also promised up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage capacity in the maximum variant.

When to expect?

The official press conference for the Nubia Red Magic 6s Pro premiere will be held on September 6. The price of the smartphone has not been specified yet. The original model, Red Magic 6 Pro powered by Snapdragon 888, appeared in Europe in the 16/128GB modification at a price of €699. By the way, it was named the best gaming smartphone in China, as evidenced by the second poster.
