Not just iOS: Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 also does not support HarmonyOS

Last month, Samsung unveiled "smart" watch Samsung unveiled Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic smartwatches with 5nm Exynos W920 chip and Wear OS, which run a new version of Wear OS, developed in a collaboration between Google and Samsung. Right after the official announcement, it was revealed that the Galaxy Watch 4 does not work with iOS gadgets. But not great trouble, because mostly iPhone owners choose still Apple Watch. And the other day Samsung unveiled the new product in China and confirmed that smartwatch not support Huawei's proprietary operating system - HarmonyOS.

Therefore, as of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic can only be used with Android devices. The minimum requirements set by Samsung: Android 6.0 or higher with more than 1.5 GB of RAM.

In addition, many watch features only work with Samsung smartphones running Android 10 or later. And some options are only available in certain regions.
