Xiaomi to unveil Redmi K40 Lite with 50MP camera

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K40, K40 Pro, K40 Pro+ and K40 Gaming Edition smartphones at the beginning of the year. One more model will be added to the series in the near future.

What is known?

The smartphone will be called Redmi K40 Lite. It will be a simplified version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. The device has a catalog number K16A. It has passed the mandatory 3C certification.

The regulator's database indicates that the model will support 33W fast charging. The Redmi K40 Lite is also credited with a 120Hz display, a processor manufactured by MediaTek and a 50-megapixel main camera. More information about the upcoming new product is not available yet.

Recall, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition features a Dimensity 1200 chipset, 120Hz panel, 5065mAh battery with 65W charging, stereo speakers and 16MP front-facing camera. The main camera resolution is 64MP + 8MP + 2MP.
