Users can't update their Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones. Specifically, the system reportedly notifies the availability of MIUI 12.5.3.0, but the installation of the new software version does not start. This applies to models with the global firmware version.

Xiaomi is already aware of this situation. What is interesting to solve the problem the company intends to release a new version of MIUI 12.5 software for Redmi Note 8 Pro. This was confirmed on the Mi Community forum.
