Xiaomi unveiled 120W GaN charger cheaper than $50

Xiaomi continues to expand its range of accessories. This time the Chinese manufacturer has released a new compact GaN charger.

What is known

Novelty received support for maximum power of 120 watts, a chip that is responsible for heat dissipation, as well as housing made of fire and heat resistant materials UL94-V0. The power supply supports all sorts of protection protocols, including protection against overheating, power surges etc.

The charger has a built-in port USB-C and comes with a one-meter cable USB-C to USB-C. With the new product you can charge the recently introduced Redmi Note 11 Pro+. With this power pack the battery of the device at 4500 mAh will charge to 100% in just 15 minutes.

Price and when to expect

The new power pack will start selling on Xiaomi's website in China on November 1. The asking price is $47 USD.
