Monster Hinter Rise will get free DLC
Next week Monster Hunter Rise will be waiting for another crossover - Sonic the Hedgehog and his friend Tales will be added to the game. Judging by the trailer, Sonic himself will be able to be taken with him on the journey, and he will provide support in battle. The hedgehog will have his "signature" swirling attacks and the ability to move quickly. Monster Hunter Rise also has canonical sounds like collecting rings.
The expansion includes two special tasks that unlock items from the DLC:

A Sonic-style outfit for the main character.

Tales outfit for the player dog palamut.

Sonic's costume for Palico, another companion animal.
Sonic became the first collab character MHR, not owned by Capcom. Previously, Monster Hunter Simulator added characters from Mega Man, Okami yes Street Fighter.
Monster Hunter Rise only available on Nintendo Switch. The PC version will be released on January 12, 2022 - for now you can play the demo on Steam. According to Capcom, Sonic content will appear on the folk platform immediately following the release MHR .
