Meta has announced a new WhatsApp app for Windows.

What we know

The new version of the program now natively supports the Windows operating system (previously, the application used web technologies). Thanks to this, WhatsApp has become faster and consumes less power. In addition, the messenger has received a slightly updated look and feel and the ability to receive and send messages even when your phone is off.

When to expect

The new version of WhatsApp is already available to download from the Microsoft App Store.
