Xiaomi unveiled a competitor for the Mac mini for $400

Following the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones, the Chinese company introduced a mini computer called Xiaomi Mini Host.

Here's What We Know

The novelty received an aluminum body with overall dimensions of 112 x 112 x 38 mm. The model weighs 470 g. Xiaomi Mini Host is equipped with an Intel Corei5-1240P processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The capacity of DDR4 type RAM is 16 GB, and the SSD PCIe 4 drive has a capacity of 512 GB.

However, users can buy a modification without RAM and SSD to install the components to their liking. Xiaomi Mini Host supports up to 32 GB of RAM, and the maximum storage capacity is 4 TB at once.

The Mini Host gets USB 3.2, USB 2.0, two HDMIs, two Thunderbolt 4, RJ-45 and Mini-Jack. There's also Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6 under the hood. The model runs on the Windows 11 operating system.

Price

The Xiaomi Mini Host without RAM and SSD costs $400. The variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage the company - $530.
