Rumor: Pixel Tablet will run the 1st generation Tensor chip and will come to market without 4G/5G support
Google revealed in the spring that it was going to introduce the first Pixel tablet next year. Now, thanks to an insider, some details about the novelty have appeared on the network.
Here's What We Know
An insider under the nickname @Za_Raczke got into the AOSP code and learned that the Pixel Tablet will likely run on the proprietary first-generation Tensor processor. The exactly same chip is now in the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6a smartphones. It has Mali-G78 MP20 graphics and eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. The SoC is built on a 5-nanometer process.

In addition, the leak reveals that the tablet is unlikely to get a GPS module and 4G/5G support. The novelty should only come with Wi-Fi. That is, we are talking about a tablet for home use.
Recall, the Pixel Tablet is also expected with Android 12L, a camera, as in the company's smartphones, USB-C port, stereo speakers and connecting options for accessories. The novelty should be released in early 2023.
