Snapdragon 778G, 120Hz OLED screen and triple camera - Xiaomi 12 Lite specifications revealed
Xiaomi is preparing to unveil Xiaomi 12 Lite smartphone, which will be sold in both China and the global market, but with one difference.
What we know
The international version of Xiaomi 12 Lite is codenamed TAOYAO, although it may also appear in China. The smartphone will get a 6nm Snapdragon 778G (SM7325) mobile chip, Full HD+ AMOLED display with built-in fingerprint scanner (FOD) and 120Hz refresh rate support.
The main camera will include a main and ultra-wide-angle modules, and they will be accompanied by an additional sensor for macro photography. Resolution is not yet specified. For China, the company will prepare another version. The source calls it Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom. Perhaps it will be released as Xiaomi 12 Youth Edition. The only difference will be the presence of a telephoto lens.

This move by Xiaomi will surprise few. We saw a similar one last year, when the Chinese version of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, which was named Mi 10 Youth Edition, got a periscopic telephoto module with a 5x optical zoom. It looks like the situation will be repeated in the next generation.
