Rumour: Huawei is set to unveil a foldable Mate X3 Pro smartphone with 5G support
Huawei announced a foldable smartphone Mate X3 in March this year, and now is working on another novelty of this series.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by a Chinese insider. We are talking about an improved version of the device with the name Huawei Mate X3 Pro.
The main difference of the novelty will be support for the fifth-generation network. For comparison, because of the US sanctions Huawei can not use American 5G-chips, so the Mate X3 has a 4G-version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Which SoC the Huawei Mate X3 Pro will get is still unknown. It might be the company's new proprietary processor.
Unfortunately, there are no other details about the smartphone yet. It is also unknown when the presentation of the device will take place. Perhaps the novelty will be shown at the HDC 2023 conference in early August.
