Activision Blizzard veterans open Magic Soup Games studio to create games that will make you feel good
Former Activision Blizzard employees and veterans Jen Oneal, J. Allen Brack, and John Donham have teamed up to create a new studio, Magic Soup Games.
Here's What We Know
The studio strives to create games that will be useful for the soul of gamers and will give them a great mood. In general, to develop games that we would all like to play.
Magic Soup Games is currently looking for new developers. Currently, there are two vacancies on the studio's website: a concept artist and a server side engineer. The latter one states that it is required to create a multiplayer game. So now we know in which direction the studio is moving.
J. Allen Brack became the president of Activision Blizzard in 2018 and resigned in 2021 when the company faced a lawsuit over harassment allegations within the company. Then Jen O'Neill became the president, but she left Activision Blizzard after 3 months. Reportedly, she left because she was not paid an equal salary. She was offered an equal contract only after she submitted her resignation.
