Netflix launches $6.99 plan where you can't skip commercials

Netflix video service has finally launched its promised $6.99/month plan. It's called Basic with Ads, which perfectly encapsulates its essence.

Here's What We Know

The new plan is already available in several countries: Australia ($6.99), Brazil ($3.69), UK (£4.99), Germany (€4.99), Italy (€5.49), Canada ($5.99), Mexico ($5.05), France (€5.99), South Korea ($3.9), Japan ($5.35) and USA ($6.99). November 10, residents of Spain were able to connect the cheapest plan.

The average viewer in 60 minutes will see 4-5 ads lasting 15-30 seconds, which can neither skip, nor scroll. Commercials will appear at the beginning and in the middle of the series or movie.

If you sign up for the Basic with Ads plan, not all Netflix content will be available to users. Unavailable shows and movies will be marked with a lock. Content is streamed in HD. The cheapest plan does not include the ability to connect an Apple TV and does not allow you to download content.
