Indiana Jones and the Great Circle здобула шість номінацій, включаючи головну категорію Best Game. За нею йде Thank Goodness You're Here від Coal Supper із п’ятьма номінаціями, а Paper Trail від Newfangled Games отримала чотири. Цікаво, що Thank Goodness You're Here також бореться за звання найкращої гри разом із Still Wakes The Deep і Astro Bot.

Серед інших помітних претендентів - Split Fiction і Atomfall, а студії Hazelight Studios і Rebellion номіновані у категорії Best Studio. Маленькі студії Coal Supper та Shared Memory (автори Animal Well) змагаються у номінації Best Small Studio, причмо Animal Well також номінована на Best Marketing Campaign.

Цього року у Develop:Star Awards з’явилися дві нові категорії — Best EDI Initiative, яка відзначає ініціативи у сфері рівності, різноманітності та інклюзії, а також Best In-Game Accessibility, що оцінює доступність ігор для гравців з особливими потребами.

Особливою відзнакою цьогорічної церемонії стане нагорода The Develop Star Award, яку отримає Сам Лейк - ключова фігура Remedy Entertainment, відомий своїм внеском у створення Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break та Control.

Переможців обиратимуть голосуванням серед представників ігрової індустрії, яке триватиме до 30 травня. Церемонія нагородження відбудеться 9 липня у рамках конференції Develop:Brighton у Brighton Dome.
