Disney+ Reveals Andor Trailer and Release Date

The Disney+ streaming service will release Andor on August 31, set in the Star Wars universe. The first teaser trailer for the show has already appeared on the Star Wars YouTube channel. The video introduces the main character of the series - Cassian Andor, one of the members of the Rogue One squad. His role in the show is played by Diego Luna. He has already appeared in this image in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The plot of Andor has not yet been revealed. The series is described by the creators as a "tense spy thriller". It will consist of 12 episodes. The events of the show will precede the action of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Luna promised that viewers "wouldn't recognize Cassian Andor in the beginning". The series is supposed to be about the upcoming uprising against the Empire and how people and planets were involved in it. Official poster:
