Aselsan and Sefine have developed the world's first unmanned warship with electronic warfare capabilities
Turkish companies Aselsan and Sefine have joined forces to create a new unmanned warship. It is called Marlin SIDA.
Here's What We Know
Aselsan is Turkey's largest defense company and Sefine is a private shipyard. Together, they created and tested an unmanned surface ship for the country's armed forces. Ismail Demir, head of Turkey's Defense Industry Agency, said.

Marlin SIDA will be used in military operations for offensive and defensive missions on the high seas. The Marlin SIDA will be used for offensive and defensive missions on the high seas.
Sefine began work on the Marlin SIDA in 2019. Aselsan joined the project in 2021. Technical specifications of Marlin SIDA are not specified yet.
