The Last of Us Part 1 will be available not only on PC, but will also support Steam Deck

Naughty Dog's co-president Neil Druckmann, answering fans' questions on Twitter about The Last of Us, said that "Ellie and Joel will be gracing the Steam Deck" and console owners can not worry about it.

Of course, Druckmann didn't say how well the game will run on the device you're holding in your hands, but in any case, the fact that The Last of Us Part 1 was released only for PlayStation 5, bypassing the previous generation of consoles, is definitely a testament to the Steam Deck's abilities.

The original The Last of Us certainly wasn't, as some have suggested, the best game ever made, but it was a tense and immersive story with great characterisation and a solid narrative. It will be nice to see it freed from its console shackles and allowed to roam free on PC and, yes, Steam Deck.
