Audiobooks will appear on Google Play

Google Play will receive a new section where users can buy audiobooks.

The journalists of the portal 9to5Google noticed a corresponding teaser banner. From it it is clear that soon a section with audiobooks will appear on Google Play. Also referred to a 50% discount on the first purchase.

Today it is not clear when the section with audiobooks will become available in the US, especially in Ukrainian and Russian Google Play.

In November 2017, Android Police discovered on Google Play version 8.4 part of the code, which pointed to the development of an additional section in the Play Books, dedicated to audiobooks.
