Apple fixed the bug that "killed" messengers on the iPhone

Apple has released a new firmware update, which is designed to fix the bug of iOS and macOS.

What is known

Update 11.2.6 will fix a new bug that blocks access to WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Outlook for iOS and Gmail. To do this, simply send a symbol of the Dravidian language Telugu (common in the Indian states) to the device. If the user tries to open the message, the messenger hangs, and then completely refuses to open.

The vulnerability concerns the main Apple platforms - iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS, which will also receive an update.
