Epic Games announced Fortnite for iOS and Android with a common multiplayer on PC and PS4
Fortnite has already proven itself in the genre of "royal battle" and actively fights for the audience with PUBG. If before Epic Games aimed at the audience of PCs and consoles, now they have taken up mobile platforms.

EG Marketing Director Wes Phillips announced that the "Royal Battle" Fortnite will visit smartphones and tablets this year. This may seem incredible, but developers promise an exact copy of Fortnite from "large" platforms. The press release says that the mobile version will receive "the same gameplay, the same card, the same content and the same weekly updates."

Epic Games signed a contract with Sony and mobile Fortnite will receive support for Cross Play and Cross Progression. For example, you can play on PS4, and your no-console friend - on PC, Mac, iOS or Android.
"We believe that this is the future of games. One game on all platforms. Console quality and action. Play when you want and where you want, "- said in a press release.
When to expect
Mobile Fortnite will be launched on the iPhone 6S / SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPad 2017 with iOS 11 on board, as well as Android. Release for Apple devices is scheduled for March 12, and Android users will have to wait a couple of months.
