Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has passed Wi-Fi certification

Samsung is preparing for the announcement of its new smartphone Galaxy A8 Star. The device has already "lit up" in the TENNA database and Bluetooth certification has passed . Now the device appeared on the site of the Wi-Fi Alliance.

What is known

Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal any key characteristics of the smartphone, but it is known that the device has the model number SM-G885DS (Dual Sim version). In addition, the Galaxy A8 Star will receive Android 8.0 Oreo and support for dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz).

According to previous leaks, the smartphone will be equipped with a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels. The work of the device will be the company's Exynos 7885 processor or Snapdragon 660, as well as 4/6 GB of RAM. In the Galaxy A8 Star should install a battery of 3700 mAh, a dual main camera at 16 Mp + 24 Mp and a front camera at 24 Mp.
