Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo: a too-smart robot vacuum cleaner with wet cleaning, AI and cleaning station
The manufacturer promises improved cleaning of carpets and dried stains thanks to steam treatment
Samsung Electronics will unveil a new line of vacuum cleaners with enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities at CES 2024. The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo is a vacuum cleaner and mop robot (for wet cleaning) that features a 3D sensor that expands the number of objects it can distinguish, providing a better cleaning experience. The new product is a further development of the technology previously introduced in the Bespoke Jet Bot AI+, which was unveiled at CES 2021.
The Bespoke Jet Bot Combo has several sections with advanced AI features for home cleaning. The updated AI object recognition algorithm recognises and classifies rooms such as the living room and kitchen and automatically suggests setting a "no-go zone" such as the bathroom, terrace, or entrance so that the vacuum cleaner avoids objects. The model also recognises flooring and switches to the appropriate cleaning mode, taking into account hard floors and carpeting. When the robot detects a stain, it will return to the station to heat the wet wipes with steam and then return to its location. With a speed of 170 revolutions per minute, it will be able to actively clean even dried stains, according to the manufacturer.
In addition, the model can even detect the type of floor to provide enhanced cleaning with a feature called AI Floor Detect. It distinguishes between hard floors and carpeting and then automatically increases its suction power, which is useful even for cleaning deeply dusty carpets. It also helps prevent users' carpets from getting wet and stained with dirty wet cleaning wipes. When the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ detects a carpet, it determines whether to raise or detach the wipe pads on the cleaning station to provide an improved solution to cross-contamination.
In addition, the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo features a complete wet wipe cleaning system that includes automatic washing, steam treatment and hot air drying. After washing the wipes with hot water heated by steam, they are then steamed to prevent unpleasant odours and ensure hygienic care.
The "Bespoke Jet Bot Combo" model comprehensively improves the cleaning experience and delivers high cleaning efficiency. More information about the model will be available (hopefully, but not necessarily) at CES 2024.
