Samsung fixes MultiStar Multi Focus flaws with One UI 6.1

The MultiStar Multi Focus issue occurred after the release of Samsung's One UI 6.0 update.

Here's What We Know

Users of the Galaxy S24 series can already receive One UI 6.1, which fixes the Multi Focus issue in MultiStar. Other devices such as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 are expected to receive this update by the end of March or early April 2024.

Flashback

MultiStar is an application that adds additional features to the window management system on Samsung smartphones, such as the ability to work with multiple apps at the same time. One of the functions of MultiStar is Multi Focus, which is supposed to keep all open windows active even if the user is not using them at the moment.

However, after the upgrade to One UI 6.0, many users began to notice that the Multi Focus feature was not working properly. Instead of keeping all windows active, it was causing some inactive windows to become faulty, stop or close. This limited the productivity of users who wanted to work with multiple applications at the same time.
