Tidal introduces Circles, a new social network for musicians

Tidal, the popular music streaming service, is introducing a new collaboration and experience sharing tool for musicians - Tidal Circles.

Here's What We Know

This is a new social network designed specifically for creatives looking to find community and advice in the music industry.

Tidal describes Circles as a forum for artists to discuss their career experiences and connect with peers on how to advance in the music industry. This new feature is available to musicians, DJs and other creatives who have an artist profile on Tidal.

Circles is currently in early access and is only available to artists in the Tidal Rising programme and to new artists using Tidal Artist Home. The platform is not yet open to producers, label executives and other music industry participants.

Tidal Circles features include the ability to discuss topics such as touring and booking, fans and social media, as well as creativity and music creation. Users can post comments on their own behalf or anonymously. The network promises to control the content in accordance with the rules and standards.

The good news for artists is that Circles is completely free to use and can be accessed through the Tidal Artist homepage.

While Circles is just getting started, Tidal continues to work on other initiatives to foster the development of the music community. Tidal has made its subscription plans simpler. It will now be easier for users to choose a subscription as it will be clearer and can include more features for an affordable price. This will allow more people to access premium features without incurring high costs.
